Chris Higgins Goalkeeping started in 2008 as Goalkeeping SA and has also been known as Sells Goalkeeping Academy Australia. Our aim is to provide quality goalkeeping coaching to those young keepers that weren't receiving any at club level or hadn't made representative sides or are looking for an alternative pathway. CHGK has produced many state team, SIP, Skilleroo, NTC and state team futsal keepers. One Australian schoolboys keeper and even and one young Socceroo goalkeeper.
We have had young keepers invited in to trial or train at clubs such as Wigan. Everton. Aston Villa. Derby County. Fleetwood Town and Crystal Palace.
Head coach and owner Chris Higgins has coached many senior goalkeepers at NPL and local level winning the 2016 FFA SA cup with Metrostars and the 2017 NPL SA league title with Croydon Kings. Chris is a former junior state team goalkeeper, former NPL keeper, former Australian Futsal international , former Football South Australia state team goalkeeping coach and current Football South Australia state Futsal teams goalkeeping coach and current Football South Australia Futsal state team coach winning the national Futsal championship in 2016 with his U/15 South Australian state Futsal team and the 2021 Gold Coast International with Prospect Futsal Club U/16 boys.
